Full Roof Replacement and Gutter Upgrade in Bristol
A homeowner in Bristol, TN contacted RoofWorksTN after trees were removed from their property and, unfortunately, one of those trees landed on the house. The impact left the roof damaged enough that a full roof replacement was needed to restore the structure and protect the interior from future leaks and weather exposure.
RoofWorksTN completed a full roof replacement on the home. The project began with a careful assessment of the damage, then a controlled tear-off of the existing roofing material. Replacing the roof gave us the chance to address ventilation and trim details that were either outdated or compromised by the impact.
As part of the ventilation upgrade, we removed the original whirley bird vents and cut in a continuous ridge vent. This change helps the attic breathe more evenly by allowing hot, moist air to exit along the peak. Proper ventilation reduces the risk of moisture buildup and can help the new roof perform better over time.
We also upgraded the painted fascia boards to a metal fascia wrap. The homeowner wanted a cleaner, more durable finish, and the metal wrap provides a higher end look while adding an extra level of protection to the roof line. The wrap covers the fascia and helps shield it from rot, pests, and weather related wear, which is especially helpful after a roof replacement.
To improve water management around the home, the homeowner opted for a 6 inch seamless gutter system. These larger gutters handle heavier flows during Tennessee rainstorms, and because they are seamless, they reduce the number of joints where leaks can develop. Properly sized and installed gutters help direct water away from the foundation and protect siding and landscaping from overflow.
Throughout the project, RoofWorksTN focused on restoring function as well as appearance. Replacing the roof, improving ventilation, wrapping the fascia, and installing 6 inch seamless gutters work together to protect the house from future storm damage and to promote better long term performance of the roof system.
When work was finished we inspected the roof line, ventilation, and gutter connections to make sure everything was aligned and functioning. The combination of a full roof replacement, a continuous ridge vent, metal fascia wrap, and upgraded gutters gave the homeowner a comprehensive solution to the damage caused by the fallen tree and better protection against Tennessee weather going forward.

Client Review
We are thankful for the professionalism and commitment we received from Montana, Britt, Aaron and the roofing team while having our roof repaired from tree damage and then on to full shingles and gutter replacement. Montana and Britt were recommended by a friend after a tree fell on our house. They tarped the area to prevent further weather and rodent/bird damage while waiting for insurance processing. The RoofWorks team was courteous, cautious of our gardens, keeping the yard picked up and very quick to repair damage and put on new roof and gutters. Aaron's team was so committed to their work we had to demand they come off roof for coffee and donuts. (I always suggest treating your teams). Montana and Britt made the process easy from estimate all the way through completion. Montana and/or Britt were always on site during work to supervise though I believe Aaron and his crew knew their jobs proficiently. Great team work all around. We HIGHLY recommend RoofWorksTN with Montana, Britt, Aaron and their entire crew.
